Mini Games and New Art Will Be Available in Mega Man Zero / ZX Legacy Collection

Along with six other games included in the Mega Man Zero / ZX Legacy Collection plus the Z-Chaser, a Capcom confirmed yesterday that the Original Minigames of the series Zero It’s from ZX, another new art created by Keisuke Mizuno illustrator of several games in the franchise – will be included in this new collection.

There are more than twenty mini games in the original games and all of them will be included in Mega Man Zero / ZX Legacy Collection, each bringing a unique style of gambling.

Taking control of each hero in the game and certain non-playable characters, you will find a huge variety of challenges to fulfill – some that change even to common gameplay.

Here are some examples:

Mega Man Zero 3

Copy X

Like Copy X, you will use the chips of: fire, ice and thunder, in a game of puzzle. Use the different types of powers that the Copy X contains to shoot at moving panels, but remember that you have to use the weaknesses correctly.

Hidden Phantom

One of the most out of common in Neo Arcadia, comes out of the shadows for this challenge. You will need to be agile enough in your jumps to reach your goal. Remembering that shuriken’s are not static, so be precise in your movements.

Mega Man Zero 4

“Elvish Pursuit”

This Mini game is particularly unique. Armed with only one lamp, you will need to guide a Defective Elf (enemy in MegaMan Zero 4) to a beam of light on the other side of the phase. It may seem simple, but you will be surprised at how many obstacles and how “inaccurate” this elf can be. You will have a time limit to complete the Mini Game, so good luck.

“Surfing on Lava”

In this challenging Mini Game, you’ll have to jump between three separate platforms to put out the flames. While earning points for putting out the fire before reaching the top, you can also suffer penalties for not keeping your foot “cold”. Avoid the flames and lava below to get a better score.

Mega Man ZX

“Energy Converter”

This Mini Game makes an appearance on Area C-2 inside an arcade only after you finish the game. While it seems overly simple, it can seem extremely confusing at first. A quick summary: you have to make pairs of colors with the falling jewel blocks. In a few rounds you already get the mallet.

New Art

It depicts a Cross Over between the Zero’s from Saga X and Zero, you may have seen this art circulating on the internet, but if you haven’t, here’s a sample.

This artwork will be available in the “Gallery” of the game itself.

Mega Man Zero / ZX Legacy Collection will be available for Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC and Nintendo Switch on February 25, 2020.
