 Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist | 1 × 08 - Zoey's Extraordinary Glitch

When things look like they’re back to normal, Zoey’s life turns upside down and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist changes its dynamics and is delightfully cute and funny. This time it was time to Jane Levy drop your voice and have a whole musical episode for your Zoey.

SPOILER ALERT: This article contains information about the main events of the episode. Continue reading at your own risk.

Upon discovering that her father Mitch’s illness is getting worse and he will have a short time to live, Zoey closes in on her world, not even taking her mother’s calls. The problem is that swallowing her feelings breaks down her power that turns against her.

It’s just great to see her losing track and not being able to control herself, making her singing anywhere, including playing in the face of Joan who saw her and Leif kissing. Joan talks about her feelings and how Leif is really enjoying her, and Zoey even helps out.

The problem is that David, the owner of the company, comes to know the revolutionary project of Leif and Joan, and it is up to Zoey to set up a plan and she ends up singing to him that it will not happen in less than a year. Joan is possessed, but David likes the idea and ends up releasing the budget, which changes things for Zoey in the company, even with the scolding for the singing.

Only it is with Max that she gets complicated… First she sings for him “I’m Yours” and soon after she declares to Simon with “I Want You to Want Me” he sees. Simon has no reaction and kinda runs away, while she needs to talk and explain her feelings to her friend. I even thought it was cool to talk about love and desire, that sometimes things don’t go hand-in-hand.

The point is that Zoey needs to learn to deal with her own feelings and not swallow things alone and when she decides to go see her mother, who even called Max, she understands that it’s time to face her father and in this “conversation” she sings for him “How do I Live”In an emotional version that makes it impossible not to cry.

Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist it talks about how to be with the people you love, how to listen to them and how to make yourself heard, that the weight of the world cannot be carried on your back. Sensational episode!
