In the episode we have a discussion between Will and Grace where Jack and Karen end up getting involved and everyone agrees that Will would be a version of Ricky, from I Love Lucy, then the other three start fighting to see who their Lucy would be.
Among the discussions the series put some iconic moments of Lucy in the version of each one, whether in the commercial of the medicine with excess of alcohol, in the stepping of grapes with participation of Leslie Jordan, or at the chocolate factory.
Each moment served for Will to make it clear that the three are his Lucy. As Will would always be Rick, we had a Lucy interleaving, but we also had neighbors, William Frawley and Vivian Vance, Fred and Ethel.
A beautiful tribute from Will & Grace.
