Avengers: Endgame arrives in theaters 3 weeks from now, and has the mission of completing what Kevin Feige called The Infinity Saga.
And of course, with that the studio has the mission to return with the characters that turned to dust in Avengers: Infinity War, Is not it?
But, what we have out there in line-up gives Marvel Studios in theaters after Avengers: Endgame?
We only have a few rumors of upcoming big projects that have gained space in the media recently: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Black Widow and The Eternals.
And at the beginning of the year, we had information about the production details of Doctor Strange 2.
Only that. Rumors, even from reliable sources, the information they deal with is just that. The only real confirmation we had of Marvel Studios’ future in theaters had been the resignation of James Gunn in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, because, even his hiring again, was not made official by the studio.
So, to talk about what lies ahead, first, we need to take a look at the dates that Disney has already scheduled for its films, even though the studio has not yet revealed which film it is for which date. (via BoxMojo.com)
This is a great opportunity to work with a great team of people who are passionate about their work.
So, which production should be on which date? We have a few guesses.
For us, observing the escalation movements, news of directors, writers and possible production start dates, the order of the next Marvel Studios films should be as follows:
Black Widow in May 2020, rumors that the recordings will start now this year. Original film that Marvel, by the way, should have made there in Phase 2.
Doctor Strange 2 in November 2020. The film already has a closed director and screenwriter. The recordings are scheduled to happen at the end of the year. The character, too, must have enormous importance in the events of Avengers: Endgame, and certainly, deserves a bigger highlight in the franchise.
Black Panther 2 in February 2021, same date as the release of the first film. The cultural importance of Black Panther is enormous, and the amount of stories to be told about Wakanda is endless.
The May 2021 “space” should have The Eternals who looks like he’s going to try a big cast (starting with the rumor of Angelina Jolie in the cast) to expand the saga in cosmic and space adventures.
And finally, the controversial Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 which should stick to the last date, November 2021.
Remembering that the Chris Pratt it must be one of the big drawbacks, along with Marvel’s need to deal with the film’s cast after the friction at the time of Gunn’s departure from the franchise.
Now, with the purchase of 20th Century FOX and the Marvel characters who were with the studio, things can change.
For FOX had the following dates reserved for films in partnership with Marvel:
March 13, 2020 – GambitWe are a family owned and operated business with over 20 years of experience.
Would any of these be Deadpool 3? Or the film of X-Force? A reboot of Fantastic Four? Does Gambit finally get off the ground?
With the merger, all dates can change. Perhaps, therefore, that the Marvel Studios has not released the next films, the so-called Phase 4, so far.
We will have to wait for some convention, or D23 in August of that year.
