Game of Thrones has come to an end recently, but fans are already eager to learn more about the future derived series that will be released by HBO. Check out some information already known about the spin-off:
The series will take place 10,000 years before the events of Game of Thrones; According to its official synopsis, released by HBO, the narrative will focus on the decline of the Golden Age and show the origin of the White Walkers; Naomi Watts and Josh Whitehouse will be in the main cast, which also has other names already defined, such as Toby Regbo, Denise Gough, Alex Sharp, Georgie Henley, Ivanno Jeremiah, Sheila Atim, Jamie Campbell and Naomie Ackie; The screenplay will be by Jane Goldman (Kingsman) in partnership with George RR Martin; GOT showrunners, known as D&D, will not be involved in this production; Recordings start in June, in Ireland; There is no premiere yet; So far, the series goes by the name of Bloodmoon, but it’s just a rumor.
It is also worth remembering that this will be just one of the many series set in Westeros that are being produced by HBO. Fans even speculate on a series focused on Arya Stark, following the character after the events of GOT – but it has not yet been confirmed or denied by the broadcaster.
