What happens to The New Mutants? Film is postponed again!

Things don’t seem to be going very well for New Mutants, and that’s already clear!

The latest rumors that have been circulating was that the feature would need to be rewritten, something that would make the feature impossible for its release in August 2019.

Thus, with the purchase of FOX by Disney, it seems that the film should really be released, in theaters, and not on any streaming platform, as contemplated, whether on Hulu or Disney +.

The film will be inspired by the saga The Demon Bear Saga, written by Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz, where students at the Charles Xavier School for Gifted Young People end up isolated in the middle of a storm and are forced to bridge the gap between them and not only save themselves, but also to save fellow Danielle Moonstar from the demon demon who killed her parents.

They are in the film directed by Boone, Maisie Williams (game of Thrones) like Lupina, the Brazilian Henry Zaga(13 Reasons Why) such as Sunspot, Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things) like Missile, Anya Taylor-Joy(Atlantis) like Magic, Blu Hunt (The Originals) like Danielle Moonstar and Alice Braga (The Queen of the South / Queen of the South) as Dr. Cecilia Reyes.

Would Disney use the film to start introducing Mutants to the MCU? Or the studio, would you just focus on fixing some things and making the film an isolated adventure within the X-Men world?

We don’t know for sure, what we are sure that with the launch of the first trailer in October 2017 and the participation of the actors in CCXP 2017, a lot has happened and should happen with this film.

The film has director direction Josh Boone (Blame it on the stars).

The New Mutants now arrives in April 2020.
