WB Games reveals details about Mortal Kombat 11's Kombat League

THE Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and the NetherRealm Studios today launched a gameplay trailer revealing the Kombat League in Mortal Kombat 11, a new seasonal ranked ranking mode, where players can compete to earn exclusive in-game rewards. In the new mode, players fight in ranked matches over a four-week season to progress through nine levels, moving up in positions ranging from “Apprentice” The “Elder God“. Competitors will be rewarded with exclusive in-game items for each rating unlocked.

In addition, it is possible to earn items by completing various daily and seasonal missions. When a season expires, a new season starts immediately with new rewards and incentives. The company’s optimized matchmaking system Kombat League will ensure that players are matched with opponents at the same skill level. As part of the update, a new meter was added giving players a quick look at their chances of winning against an opponent at the start of each match.

This Tuesday, early access to Shang Tsung, the first of six fighters included in the Kombat Pack of Mortal Kombat 11.

In Mortal Kombat 11, the story continues after the defeat of the ancient god, Shinnok, and reveals Kronika, the guardian of time, who above all wishes to maintain the balance between good and evil, regardless of the consequences. To establish this balance between the kingdoms, Kronika sees only one option: to erase the whole story and start time over again. Through this narrative, players take on the role of several kombatants from the past and the present who need to join forces to defeat Shao Kahn’s armies and resolve the temporal crisis.

Brazil received an exclusive edition with the dubbing in Brazilian Portuguese and the Kano Kangaceiro skin, available for free in all national editions of the game. Also available in physical format is the Premium Edition in steelbook – which includes the Season Pass – and limited quantities of Kollector’s Edition with the replica of the Scorpion mask.
