WandaVision, the new Disney + series that has long been anticipated by Avengers fans, had originally been announced with a “six-hour movie” by Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios.
Fans initially interpreted the information as six episodes of an hour each, but it appears that the series’ production has overlooked that the first season of production will be at least nine episodes.
That’s because Murphy’s Multiverse recently published part of a stunt double’s curriculum, in which you can read “WandaVision (Ep. 109)” on the list, with 109 being the code for “season 1, episode 09”.
Jeremy Conrad confirms on his Twitter: “The nine-episode report for WandaVision found in the stuntman’s resume is correct. I looked at it and received confirmation now that the show is actually going to have nine episodes,” wrote Conrad.
Later, Charles Murphy, the founder of Murphy’s Multiverse, clarified and said the season would contain “at least 9 episodes”, not exactly nine. However, the official number still follows secret.
The filming of the series starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany is expected to resume this July, but it is known that much of the filming and visual effects work was completed before the start of the social detachment period and therefore should not be missing much for production to be terminated.
The debut is expected for the month of December exclusively by Disney +.
