THE Video Game Orchestra (VGO) is confirmed in the 12th edition of Brasil Game Show, which will be held between 9 and 13 October, at Expo Center Norte, in Sao Paulo. Under the command of Shota Nakama, the band will reinterpret great classic games on the stage of the event.
Nakama is also a producer of Capcom Live, which follows the same molds as the Video Game Orchestra but in which Capcom’s game tracks are played, and has already composed, organized, orchestrated, recorded and mixed for franchises, as Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Sonic Mania, Little Witch Academia (Netflix), among others. He also runs SoundtRec, the company responsible for the musical production of games, films and animations.
In the coming months, BGS will reveal several attractions, including exhibitors, game areas, championships, thematic spaces and about 20 international guests.
THE Brasil Game Show (BGS) is the largest game fair in Latin America and one of the largest in the world in terms of audience and area. Held for the first time in 2009, initially as Rio Game Show, in the capital of Rio de Janeiro, has already received more than 1.8 million visitors adding up all editions and currently occupies all pavilions at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo.
