The Cw announced today (7) three new projects that will become new series. The channel ordered 3 three dramas for the next season, Riverdale’s spin-off, Katy Keene, the new series in the so-called Arrowverse universe, and the investigative drama NANCY DREW.

Synopsis: Armed with a passion for justice and for speaking her mind, Kate Kane (Ruby Rose) flies through the streets of Gotham as the Batwoman.

As an outspoken lesbian and a fierce fighter, Batwoman will prevent the crime wave from returning to the city. But, don’t call her a heroine yet. In a city desperate for one, Kate will need to fight her own demons before embracing the call to become the symbol Gotham needs to hope for. ”

Katy Keene

Synopsis: Riverdale’s spin-off takes place in New York without a certain date that will be charmingly Riverdale-style, where aspiring stylist Katy Keene meets Josie McCoy, who just got off a bus to go after her Musical career. Thus, the girls’ world will be composed of passionate artists, including the mysterious socialite Pepper Smith and Broadway actor, Jorge Lopez, and his drag persona, Ginger.
The group will then sail to the top of their careers with obstacles and this new family will fight tooth and nail to make their mark in the city.

Nancy Drew

Synopsis: Nancy Drew takes place in the summer after Nancy Drew graduates from high school, where the young woman thought she would leave her hometown to go to college. But when a family tragedy holds her there for another year, Nancy finds herself involved in a murder investigation, where she will discover secrets she would never have imagined.

Cast: Kennedy McCann, Freddie Prinze Jr., Leah Lewis, Tunji Kasim, Maddison Jaizani, Alex Saxon, Alvina August, Pamela Sue Martin.

Next week, the channel should present its complete grid and perhaps other new projects.
