Universal Pictures will adapt the new book by EL James, author of Fifty Shades of Gray, called Mister!

The partnership between Universal Pictures and the writer EL James to be continued.

According to Variety, the author’s new book called Mister will be adapted by the studio.

Launched in 2019, the synopsis of Mister account that the book accompanies Maxim Trevelyan an Englishman, handsome, rich, never had to work and almost never sleeps alone. That easy life changes when tragedy strikes and Maxim inherits a title of nobility, family properties and all the responsibility that comes with it. It is a role for which he is not prepared, and which he must now strive to play.

But Maxim’s biggest challenge will be to fight the attraction to an enigmatic young woman he met recently and who keeps a secret from the past. Discreet, Alessia is mysterious and seductive, and soon Maxim’s desire for her becomes something he never experienced and dares not name. But, after all, who is Alessia Demachi? What does she hide? Will Maxim be able to protect her from the evil that threatens her? And what will she do when she finds out that he has his secrets too?

From the heart of London, through the Cornish countryside to the dark and menacing beauty of the Balkans, Mister is described by the publisher Intrinseca as a story of love and suspense.
