 Tyler Posey leads the cast of the new version of The Lost Boys for The CW;  check the list!

After announcing the interest in making a new version of The Lost Boys, also known in Brazil for his numerous reruns in the Afternoon Session as The Lost Boys, The CW today announced, via Deadline, the first names of the new version.

Actors join the cast Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf), Kiele Sanchez (Kingdom), Medalion Rahimi (Before I Fall) and Dakota Shapiro (Valley of the Boom).

Rob Thomas, in Veronica Mars, is at the forefront of the project, but is currently focused on returning the detective series to the Hulu, and remains only as an executive producer. Heather Mitchell (Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy) is in contact with the broadcaster.

A synopsis was revealed, showing itself close to the story of the 80’s film, which starred Sam Emerson, Kiefer Sutherland and others.

After her father’s sudden death, two brothers move to Santa Carla with her mother, who hopes to make a fresh start in the city where she grew up. But the two brothers find themselves being dragged into the depths of the seductive, eternally beautiful and immortal youth world of Santa Carla“.

The Lost Boys joins Jane the Novela and Katy Keene the list of projects of the broadcaster.
