THE Image Movies announced that João Guilherme will dub the next studio animation, Top Dog!
Inspired by the day-to-day life of Queen Elizabeth’s dogs, the animation hits Brazilian cinemas in June.
In the plot, we accompany a group of Corgi dogs, who have been in the royal family for at least eight decades and, over time, have become one of the main symbols of the English monarchy. All the dogs in the Palace dream of becoming the Top Dog, but this is not an easy thing to achieve. This post is currently occupied by Rex (João Guilherme), the cutest and messiest of all Corgis. Even though he is always in trouble, he leads a life full of perks, with the right to a lot of royal jelly and caresses on his belly, which arouses the envy of the other dogs of the Queen.
Wanting to take his place, his companion Charlie plans a trap that makes everyone in the Palace believe that Rex has died. Lost in the streets of London, he is taken to the city’s kennel and will now need the help of his new friends to return to the Palace and resume his place as the Queen’s favorite.
