The last film in the franchise X-Men at 20th Century FOX arrives this week in theaters. And to celebrate the launch of X-Men: Dark Phoenix, the studio and the Petra Fine Arts perform the Noitão Dark Phoenix with movie marathon.
On June 7 (Friday), from 11:30 pm, an uncontrollable power will invade the screens of Noitão Petra Belas Artes.
Four more great adventures in the X-Men saga complete the evening marathon schedule:
Directed by James Mangold, the film is set in the near future, where a tired Logan takes care of the sick Professor Xavier in a hiding place on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are interrupted by the arrival of a young mutant, pursued by dark forces.
Directed by Tim Miller, the film, based on the unconventional anti-hero from Marvel Comics, tells the story of the origin of the former Special Forces agent who became the mercenary Wade Wilson. After undergoing a dishonest experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, Wade adopts Deadpool’s alter ego. Armed with his new skills and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool pursues the man who almost destroyed his life.
X-Men: First Class
Directed by Matthew Vaughn, the film is set in the 1960s and reveals the beginning of the X-Men saga. In the beginning, Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr, best friends, were not yet known as Professor X and Magneto respectively. They worked together with other mutants to prevent World War III. The film will also show the beginning of the eternal rivalry between Professor X’s X-Men and Magneto’s Brotherhood.
To end the mission in style, the last session of the marathon will feature the highly anticipated surprise film. Night owls, prepare for an epic battle with incredible challenges and a victorious ending for all “survivors”!
