This Sunday TNT broadcasts live and exclusively the 71st Emmy Awards

On Sunday, September 22, starting at 8 pm, the TNT presents, live and exclusively, the 71st edition of the Emmy Awards. Without a fixed host this year, the awards will reveal which were the best performances and shows on American TV, directly from Microsoft Theater, In Los Angeles.

On the red carpet, interviewing all the stars that pass by, they will be Carol Ribeiro and Hugo Gloss. At TNT, the presentation is on account of Dane Taranha and comments from Michel Arouca.

This year, the last season of game of Thrones broke the record with 32 nominations, including Best Drama Series and Best Actor in a Drama Series for Kit Harington. The second most indicated series is The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and competes for 20 awards, including Best Comic Series and Best Actress in a Comic Series for Rachel Brosnahan.

The second season of the English series Fleabag surprised with 11 nominations, including Best Comic Series and Best Actress in a Comic Series for the creator and protagonist Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Chernobyl, a miniseries based on real facts about the Russian nuclear disaster, received 19 nominations.

Another record holder is the actor Ted Danson, which this year competes for the 17th time for the award for Best Actor in a Comic Series for The Good Place. And the final season of Veep yielded the 12th nomination for Julia Louis-Dreyfus for Best Actress in a Comic Series.
