The Illuminated returns to national cinemas to promote Doctor Sleep!

THE Warner Bros announced that the film The illuminated will return to national cinemas on special display for the launch of Doctor Sleep!

The film will be screened in selected cinemas day October 29th.

Doctor Sleep, is based on the eponymous book by Stephen King and starring Ewan McGregor and hits theaters in November.

Ewan McGregor faces a message in new photos of Doctor Sleep!

Based on the book of Stephen King, Doctor Sleep launched in 2013, is a continuation of the events of The Shining (1980). In the plot we will follow, after 30 years, what happened to Danny Torrance, the boy from the first film, after his terrible experience in the Overlook Hotel.

So, in the book, King continued the story by telling Dan’s life, which will be played by the actor Ewan McGregor, now a middle-aged man, and Abra Stone a 12-year-old girl with great power.

Haunted by the inhabitants of the Overlook Hotel, where he spent a terrible year of his childhood, Dan was adrift for decades, desperate to get rid of his father’s legacy of alcoholism and violence.

Finally, he settles in a New Hampshire town, where he finds shelter in an Alcoholics Anonymous community that supports him and a job in a retirement home, where his remaining power of enlightenment provides ultimate comfort for those who are dying. Helped by a cat that predicts the death of patients, he becomes the “Doctor Sleep”.

Doctor Sleep, based on the work of Stephen King, earns an R rating in the USA!

Complete the cast yet, the actors Rebecca Ferguson, Zahn McClarnon, Carl Lumbly, Kyliegh Curran, Bruce Greenwood, Alex Essoe, Emily Alyn Lind, Jacob Tremblay and Jocelin Donahue.

Doctor Sleep arrives in theaters in November 7.
