Undocked: the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars that had been canceled in 2013 won a very important revelation yesterday, at Comic Con San Diego, which will change the course of the saga.
A new season has just been announced by Disney and Lucasfilm, scheduled to debut as an exclusive product of the Disney streaming service that is about to be launched.
A trailer has already been revealed, check it out:
“An unfinished war … so far”
The revival of the series will have twelve unpublished episodes for a conclusion of the story so acclaimed by fans. David Filone, producer and supervisor director, thanks the fans: “I honestly didn’t think we would have the opportunity to return to The Clone Wars, but thanks to the relentless support of the fans and the team behind Disney’s direct streaming service, we will now be able to tell more about these stories. “
He continues: “We feel a tremendous responsibility to do something that corresponds to the legacy that George Lucas created with the original series and I think our team, many of whom worked on the program from the beginning, faced the challenge.”
There is no predicted release date yet, but Disney streaming will be released next year, so we can look forward to great news for 2019. Until then, read more about Star Wars: The Clone Wars on our website.
