The Big Bang Theory started and completed Leonard’s sperm donation plot, but managed to be even better by bringing the characters interested in role-playing games to Wil Wheaton’s home. Two very interesting and fun episodes.
SPOILER ALERT: This article contains information about the main events of the episode. Continue reading at your own risk.
In “The Donation Oscillation” it was nice to see Leonard really going ahead with the donation for Zack and his wife, while Penny is left with no reaction to seeing that everything can really happen. Even the presence of her father, Wyatt, makes her think it would make Leonard give up, but he actually ends up encouraging his son-in-law.
It only changes in Leonard’s mind when he realizes that he won’t even be the father of the baby, that he may not even have contact, and he wants a child, which leads me to believe that Penny must end the pregnant season.
Now, it’s impossible not to laugh at Amy yelling at Sheldon when he runs to volunteer to be a donor.
I also liked Bernadette, Anu, Raj and Howard together having fun, mainly because Bernie was left without reaction when seeing that it could be left aside, as Howard does not even consider taking it, knowing his way. It turns out that she, even in fear, has fun in her own way.
And it’s the reaction of Bernadette, Amy and Penny in the midst of Wil Wheaton, William Shatner, Kevin Smith, Joe Manganielo and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in “The D & D Vortex” that really excites. The girls are excited to be in the middle of the handsome Magic Mike.
Wheaton gaining prominence was really cool, I liked bringing Stuart, and then putting Leonard hiding things from friends, so that in the end none of them would participate in the D&D games with them anymore.
The plot of this episode was very simple, but very entertaining, the twists and turns about who would play Wheaton and everything, brought back that air of the beginning of the series of games of the characters. I miss in The Big Bang Theory the night of boys playing and girls having fun.
