The Big Bang Theory did his crossover with Young Sheldon, but it was something so simple and so cool, that by keeping it secret they were able to make curious about how this would happen. Behold, nothing better than an old video cassette and a lot of history behind the tapes …
SPOILER ALERT: This article contains information about the main events of the episode. Continue reading at your own risk.
Sheldon is completely broken after having his theory and Amy’s denied by a Russian teacher, so Leonard takes out of the safe what could change his life, a VHS tape. Penny doesn’t understand, but soon Sheldon and Amy are surprised to see him as a young man giving him tips to get back on the line, to then have his football video recorded on top.
It was really cool, it showed the mood of little Sheldon’s house, it showed Georgie’s messes, but it is best to see the reaction of the great Sheldon and Amy to see the words of George, Sheldon’s dad. I really liked the way he had his father and from this point on, he and Amy understand that their theory is not so simple and may have a new point of view that the Russian teacher did not foresee.
So we have Sheldon and Amy back to studies and research.
The most comical part was Howard finding an old tape of his, where he auditioned for a magician and Bernadette just loves it all, and creates a new number for him. Raj doesn’t like it, but she presses her husband.
The end of the episode is Howard trying again to enter the society of magicians, but destroying a clock that should make it disappear.
The Big Bang Theory has been betting a lot on the development of its characters and I am loving it, as it promises to be a very interesting farewell for the series and its fans.
