January 31 (Friday)
Minhoqueens, Charanga do França and Tarado in the Summer Without Censorship
THE Uncensored Summer festival, promoted by the city of São Paulo, takes a carnival night to downtown São Paulo. This year, the blocks Minhoqueens, Tarado Ni You and Charanga of France they will turn the dawn of the 31st celebrating democracy, freedom of expression and diversity.
Where: Ramos de Azevedo Square, in front of the Municipal Theater.

Chameleon Rehearsal with Bell Marques
The trial of Chameleon Block, with the carnivals icon Bell Marques, turns the Clube de Pinheiros into a true piece of Salvador. If you can shell out some cash, it is worth enjoying the moment.

February 1 (Saturday)
Pre-Carnival of the Cecília and Buarques Block
It is already the tradition of February 1 the pre-carnival party Block Cecília e Buarques. In addition to the drum kit and DJ Zoo Do Joo, guests Roberta Oliveira and Bando de Lá, Mariel, DJ Ruiiva Pisacane (Canzuá) and the Filhos da Santa Monstrous Drum will be present.

Minhoqueens presents Bloco da Mama

Quizomba Block and Hose Battery
The Battery of Mangueira, Rio de Janeiro’s Carnival champion and one of the most lively blocks in Brazil, the Quizomba Block unite in heating for the most anticipated time of the year.
Quizomba’s repertoire is very eclectic, including sambas, quadrilhas, pops, rocks, funk, axé and marchinhas with compositions by well-known artists such as Jorge Ben Jor, Tim Maia, Ivete Sangalo, Zeca Pagodinho, Caetano Veloso, Alceu Valença, Raça Negra , Titãs, Skank and Paralamas do Sucesso.
The party will feature the Magnética – battery of the Block composed of 60 rhythmists, all trained in the Quizomba workshop.

The last year I died, but this year I don’t die block has 50 musicians and drummers, as well as many invited DJs. The name of the block has to do with the idea of forgetting what was bad in the past year, and ensuring that the next one is better.
