They force a relationship between the two journalists that is not convincing, and her absurd desire to help him is superficial. We understand more about Rip Riot, the villain of the episode with mechanical arms, but it soon becomes apparent that he is the friend William thinks he lost to Andrea.
Andrea has a goal to spread Obsidian and its technology as much as possible, using all the resources and areas of CatCo, and in the end we understand that this is a bigger plan for Leviathan, which ends up putting all connected humans in something that they can dominate them, in the same way that Lena wants to use her science.
Many personal dramas with Kelly and Alex learning more about each other, while giving Brainy and Nia a break, much needed time after some problems in the previous episodes.
In the end Malefic thinks he is under control and using Lena, but she demonstrates that she has managed to use her science to capture his mind and how he controls people by throwing his power against himself.
