Stephen King is an American author well known for his horror books, whose stories like It – The Thing, Cujo and Carrie, The Stranger also came to life in cinemas.
Although it is widely known that the writer does not like the version of The Shining directed by Stanley Hubrick, a film considered a classic, he recently praised the adaptation of Doctor Sleep, following the popular work.
On his Twitter (@StephenKing), he comments:
“SLEEP DOCTOR: Mike Flanagan is a talented director, but he is also an excellent storyteller. The film is a good thing. You will like it if you like O ILUMINADO, but also if you like ONE DREAM OF FREEDOM. It is immersive.”
From the same director of The Curse of the Hill Residence, a highly successful original Netflix horror series, the cast includes Ewan McGregor (Christopher Robin: An Unforgettable Reunion), Rebecca Ferguson, Jocelin Donahue, Zahn McClarnon, Emily Alyn Lind and Jacob Tremblay.
