“Presents the Jedi as we always want to see them – as true guardians of peace and justice. This is an optimistic and hopeful moment, when the Jedi and the Galactic Republic are at their peak. But it is clear that, in this glorious new era, something perverse happens ”, says Michael Siglain, Lucasfilm creative director.

This initiative will give young and old readers a new corner of the galaxy to explore through rich and meaningful stories. In addition, readers will learn what scares the Jedi.

Michael Siglain claims

“This was a golden age for the Jedi, and also a time of galactic expansion on the Outer Rim. So expect rich stories of exploitation; tracing the galaxy, getting to know new cultures and discovering what the pioneer life on the Outer Rim was like. This is an incredible sandbox for our storytellers to participate in, both in publishing and elsewhere, and we can’t wait to see the great fiction they build on it, ”says Lucasfilm vice president, James Waugh, content and strategy of the franchise.

This campaign will be explored through books, short stories and comic books, both for adults and young people, from various publishers such as Disney Lucasfilm Press, Del Rey, IDW Publishing and Marvel.

In addition, Lucasfilm also announced the participation of authors known for books related to the franchise, such as Claudia Gray, Justina Ireland, Daniel José Older, Cavan Scott and Charles Soule to shape this new publication series.
