Star Trek: Picard has been renewed for a 2nd season

The series will premiere on January 24, 2020. Star Trek: Picard of CBS All Access has already been renewed for a 2nd season. Starring Sir Patrick Stewart, the series will have a budget of more than $ 20 million in its second year.

The series that arrives in the United States through CBS All Access, arrives in the rest of the world through Amazon Prime Video. The series had a panel inside Amazon content in the last CCXP 2019.

The series Star Trek: Picard features Sir Patrick Stewart reliving the iconic role of Jean-Luc Picard, in which he served for seven years in Star Trek: The New Generation. The new series will accompany the legendary character in a new stage of his life.

In addition to Stewart, Star Trek: Picard also has Alison Pill, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera and Harry Treadaway in the cast.

Cast members of Star Trek: The Next Generation will participate in the series too, it is the case of the actors Brent Spiner how they date and Jonathan Del Arco like Hugh the Borg. The actress Jeri Ryan seen on Star Trek: Voyager as Seven of Nine will participate as well.

The participation of Marina Sirtis as Commander Deanna Troi, and Jonathan Frakes like Riker were also confirmed.
