Site says WarnerMedia's streaming service could be called HBOMAX!

The streaming service from WarnerMedia gets closer every day to being released.

The TVLine website states that one of the names that executives study is to call the platform HBOMAX. Both the HBO, as the channel MAX, are part of the umbrella of WarnerMedia companies, and HBO already has its own streaming service called HBO GO.

Thus, the idea is to take all subscribers of the HBO service to the new platform in an organic way and without affecting their relationship with the company. But will new potential customers know how to differentiate HBO’s premium service with other Warner group properties? We leave that question.

Scheduled to launch in 2020 in the US only, WarnerMedia’s streaming service should offer the client, at the cost of $ 16 or $ 17 per month, original content from the channels HBO, gives Turner, TBS, Adult Swim, TNT and The CW.

And the platform should also offer productions created exclusively to be broadcast there, as is the case with Love Life, an anthological series with Anna Kendrick in the first season (read more here), an animated series of Gremlins, and a series focused on the universe Harry Potter.

Other original productions include, The Flight Attendantwith the actress Kaley Cuoco, about a woman who is accused of murder, a series starring the actor Ansel Elgort, and still Dune: The Sisterhood, a series based on the film Dune. The streaming service should still have the productions in the catalog The Big Bang Theory, Friends and Seinfeld.

Here in Brazil, there is no forecast of arrival.
