In this quarantine period, the Telecine is launching the project #SittingInHome which promises to bring a free live cinema every Thursday, at 9 pm, on the YouTube of Telecine Pipoca or on the channel by your operator.
Last week there was De Pernas Pro Ar 3 and the new broadcast will still be on Thursday, May 28, at 9 pm, and can be watched in the video below:
The film chosen for this unprecedented Session #FiqueEmCasa is Brutal Hunt, thriller released in 2017 with Bruce Willis in the main role and direction of Steven C Miller. The duo had previously worked together on the films Operation Rescue (2015) and Assault on Power (2016).
The plot follows Will (Hayden Christensen) who, during a family outing, witnesses an assassination attempt. They try to help the man, but he is actually a thug who robbed a bank and does not care for the family’s goodwill: he kidnaps Danny, Will’s son, and asks for money in exchange for freedom. To get his son back, the man will have the help of a policeman, played by Willis.
One of the most interesting features of Caça Brutal is the agility with which it was done: the recordings of the 97-minute feature lasted only 13 days.
Access the #FiqueEmCasa website now to learn more about the free project.
