In the comics, we follow Marc Spector, a CIA agent who became a mercenary and started earning millions of dollars in clandestine missions. When one of these jobs proved too dangerous during a mission in Cairo, Spector was murdered by a former colleague.
Thus, when fighting to survive in the desert he ends up entering an Egyptian tomb, of the God of the Moon known as Konshu. When he dies he returns to life at the hands of the ancient God, gains skills, but develops a personality disorder.
Upon returning to New York, his new personalities stand out. We have Steven Grant a millionaire womanizer, and Jake Lockey a taxi driver. Thus, we also have the birth of Moon Rider, one of Spector’s personalities who has the ability to predict the future and have visions every night.
Cast names have not been confirmed, as has a premiere date for the project.
For now the only confirmed series that we have on Disney + are The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, What If…?, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk.
