Series based on The Lord of the Rings for Prime Video begins pre-production in New Zealand!

THE Prime Video released more information about the brief tweet than the series-based account Lord of the Rings released earlier this week.

Thus, the streaming service announced that pre-production of the series has already started, and thus, production will begin in Auckland in the coming months.

Casting announcements are expected to start coming out soon. Recordings are expected to begin in the coming months, with the beginning of 2020, a date that American sites rumor about.

“We are delighted to officially confirm New Zealand as home to the series based on the stories of Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings” declared JD Payne and Patrick McKay, showrunners and executive producers of the series.

Located in Middle-earth, the television adaptation will explore stories prior to the Fellowship of the ring, by Tolkien. The plot of books and films, took place in Middle Earth and is a medieval fantasy story where a hobbit called Frodo Scholarship need to lead a mission to destroy a powerful ring. In theaters the saga lasted three films The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), The Two Towers(2002) and the Return of the King (2003) that raised more than 3 billion dollars.
