Series based on Diego Luna's character in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story for Disney + should start shooting in October!

It seems that Disney + made the series of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story for your streaming service.

According to TheForce.net., Production should start recording at the end of the year, around September and October.

The intention of the streaming service in the series project was announced in November last year, where the actor Diego Luna returns to play pilot Cassian Andor in the Star Wars franchise feature released in 2016.

The pilot in the film was an intelligence officer of the Rebel Alliance and leader of Rogue One, a rebel unit that tries to steal the plans of the Death Star in the 2016 film.

The series will be a spy drama that will tell an earlier story shown in the film where the character will be in his early years at the Rebellion.

Thus, with the start of production, the untitled series of Rogue One may debut its episodes in 2020.

Other Star Wars productions for the streaming service are the live-action series called The Mandalorian (read more here) and the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

In addition to series in the Star Wars Universe, Disney + will still have series about characters from Marvel, Disney and Pixar. Check it all out here.
