Sonic: The Movie arrived and surprised all fans of the blue hedgehog, especially after all the controversies due to its look, but even so the film earned more than $ 300 million.
According to the analyst, it should not be long before Paramount Pictures announce the sequel and it should be centered on Tails and his search for Sonic’s help, as we saw in the post-credit scene. The analyst Jeff Bock told USA Today that the announcement should happen soon, and I believe it has not yet been done because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“A sequel is imminent for Paramount Studios, which desperately needs a franchise … I hope the announcement will soon come as soon as the world turns in the direction we all know again“, he said.
“Video game adaptations are definitely on the rise again in Hollywood and thanks to Sonic and his box office“. The director Jeff Fowler who referred to Tails said that “has many other great characters to bring and many stories to tell“.
