With the start of recordings of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings scheduled to start now at the beginning of the year, details of the plot of the film start to come out.
At least the rumors, of course!
According to the GeeksWorldWide website, the character’s film may serve to introduce another group to the Marvel Universe at the movies, Agents of Atlas.
It is not known whether the project under development at Marvel Studios would be for a film, or a series in the Disney +. But considering that we still have some undisclosed projects within the studio calendar at Disney + it is possible that we have the characters in a series for the Disney streaming platform.
In the comics, Atlas agents are led by Special Agent Jimmy Woo, who was interpreted by the actor Randall Park in Ant-Man and the Wasp, and who is tipped to return at Marvel Studios’s Wanda Vision at Disney +.
Complete the team, the very Shang-Chi (Simu Liu) and a Chinese superhero called Aero (who can show up in the character’s movie), Brawn also known as Amadeus Cho, and Silk Web, a Korean superheroine who appeared in the Spider-Man comics, among other characters.
Of course, it is still too early to know if this project will get off the ground, first we need to see what the repercussions of Shang-Chi at the movies.
