About Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
The original game, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, was released in 1999 and its story takes place at the same time as the events of Resident Evil 2. The protagonist Jill Valentine needs to find a way out of the infested Raccoon City while fleeing the Nemesis threat, biological weapon that pursues it throughout the game. Another prominent character is Carlos Oliveira, who can be controlled briefly in some parts.
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis has a different mechanics than its predecessors, presenting more enemies than normal and more focused on action. The game was well received due to its new mechanics, graphics considered modern for the time and the villain Nemesis himself. However, it also received some criticisms focused on its short duration and history.
Originally released for PlayStation, Resident Evil 3 was also made available for consoles like Dreamcast and Nintendo GameCube.
