Ratched, Ryan Murphy's Netflix series with Sarah Paulson, cast 10 more actors for the cast!

With the age Ryan Murphy to the Netflix, mega producer projects are only starting to get off the ground just now.

One of the first series that closed, when Murphy was announced that he would write and work on productions for the streaming giant, was the drama Ratched starring an old partner of the director: the talented Sarah Paulson.

And today (15) the streaming service announced another 10 new names for the program.

So, together with Paulson who stars in the series, we will have the actors Jon Jon Briones, Charlie Carver, Judy Davis, Harriet Harris, Cynthia Nixon, Hunter Parrish, Amanda Plummer, Corey Stoll, Sharon Stone and Finn Wittrock.

The production, announced in 2018, will be as if it were a story of origin, which will take place in 1947, and will follow Nurse Ratched’s journey and her evolution to become a monster. The series will follow the events that led her to murder patients through the mental health system.

“RATCHED” on Netflix starts shooting in a couple weeks. On behalf of myself and Ms. Sarah Catharine Paulson who plays the title role and is also a big fancy producer on it, we are thrilled to announce our amazing cast… a true murderers’ row of talent. So many of these actors are supremely talented folks who Sarah and I have both longed to work with. The Ratched Principal Players, in alphabetical order: JON JON BRIONES, CHARLIE CARVER, JUDY DAVIS, HARRIET HARRIS, CYNTHIA NIXON, HUNTER PARRISH, AMANDA PLUMMER, COREY STOLL, SHARON STONE AND FINN WITTROCK. More to come, but come on… Sarah, Cynthia, Judy, Amanda and Sharon, all doing scenes together? I cannot WAIT.

Evan Romansky wrote the pilot episode, where he and Murphy directed episodes of the series.

Recordings begin in a few weeks in the U.S., and a debut date is yet to be released by Netflix.
