Prodigal Son strives to maintain a weekly drama to tell Malcolm’s story, but it doesn’t hold us back, as much as I like Dani, TJ and Gil a lot, but the series could be much smaller and more focused on him, on Martin, Jessica and Ainsley …
SPOILER ALERT: This article contains information about the main events of the episode. Continue reading at your own risk.
In the episode “The Job”We saw Eve walking into the box and wanting to feel what it was, and in this episode we already have Malcolm with dreams and his subconscious saying that he has something strange, and that left Ainsley to research and discover her fascination with her family.
Jessica and Ainsley then put the boy against the wall and he says that he has noticed something strange, and that’s when Eve comes in and hears the subject, being forced to tell him that she is the sister of the girl found in the trunk by Malcolm… I think the drama between they will tighten up more.
The case of the episode itself was carried out, we found out that a man was killing people close to his wife, and tried to kill her too, all because she was a surrogate, and he wanted his daughter. There were some cool things going on, like Edrisa and the bottle of champagne on the deceased’s neck.
Martin who stood aside and always throwing in the face of his son the promise of always going to see him, otherwise he will talk about the stab, thus making his blackmail.
Prodigal Son it could be a smaller series, 13 episodes at most, and still develop your characters well, because there is plenty of screen time and sometimes not much happens.
