THE FOX his prodigal son debuted very well, different from this horrible pun the series was incredible! I think the point of this project is Tom Payne and its relationship with Michael Sheen.
The drama of a son who discovers that his father is a serial killer and must fight not to be marked by this, and even not to follow the same path, while becoming a man who sets up the profile of murderers, is very good.
SPOILER ALERT: This article contains information about the main events of the episode. Continue reading at your own risk.
The episode oscillates well between the initial drama of Prodigal Son, while seeking to support us in a plot today. So the series positions itself at a time in Malcolm’s life, Bright to hide the surname Whitly, where he hasn’t slept in a few days, fired from the FBI and in the police he now finds a serial killer following in his father’s footsteps.
Prodigal Son still has a very good support cast, with Lou Diamond Phillips like Gil Arroyo and Bellany Young like Jessica Whitly. Another point that stands out is the degrading photography that embraces us in this darker climate.
At the end Prodigal Son puts Martin directly connected to the serial killer that his son investigates and it is obvious that the boy will change some thoughts, but for now he struggles to get as far away from his father. And he was the one who called the police in 1998, and so he knows Gil.
Hope Prodigal Son get even more excited in the next episodes and have more time to develop the supporting characters, like Sister Ainsley who is a reporter, as well as Dani and JT.
For this pilot Prodigal Son it’s a good fit for FOX.
