Playmobil hits theaters in September and gets new trailer dubbed

Once announced for August 22, the imaginary universe in the first feature film inspired by the toy brand Playmobil arrives in Brazilian theaters day September 12th in Playmobil– The Movie. Chosen to open the 2019 edition of Annecy Animation Film Festival, the biggest animation festival in the world, the production has a new trailer just revealed.

With national distribution Paris Movies, the animation directed by Lino DiSalvo takes the audience on an epic journey packed with humor and action and a combination of captivating characters in stunning landscapes.

In this original production, the plot explores the relationship between brothers Marla and Charlie. When her younger brother Charlie unexpectedly disappears into the magical and animated universe of Playmobil®, Marla must embark on the greatest adventure of her life to bring him home. While adventuring on a fantastic journey through incredible new worlds, Marla meets courageous and unexpected friends: truck driver Del, secret and charismatic agent Rex Dasher, a rebel robot, an extravagant fairy godmother and many others.

In this vibrant adventure, Marla and Charlie realize that it doesn’t matter where life takes them. You can achieve anything when you believe in yourself.

Former Disney Animation contributor, Lino DiSalvo sign on Playmobil – The Movie his first job as a director and screenwriter. In his career, DiSalvo counts projects of international success as head of the team of animators, animation supervisor and animator, in Frozen a freezing adventure, Tangled, Bolt – Supercão, Chicken Little, among others. Beyond, Greg Erb, Blaise Hemingway and Jason Oremland also sign the script for this animation.
