Persona franchise reaches 10 million copies sold worldwide

The franchise Persona is already 23 years on the road, and its first title was released in September 1996, for our beloved gray brick, PlayStation. And according to Atlus, the franchise reached no less than ten million copies sold worldwide.

And since the global success of Persona 5, which reached the mark of 2.7 million copies sold worldwide in April this year, the franchise has become increasingly popular, gaining new fans who rush to meet and play the previous titles.

And according to recent information provided by Sega and Atlus, news about the new Persona 5 The Royal will be disclosed in a presentation that takes place during the Billboard Live Tokyo on August 31, at 8:00 am (Brasília time). The presentation promises a new gameplay, trailer and even a live show. But as the joy of the poor is short-lived, the event that will roll through the website will be blocked for any country except Japan.

Persona 5 Royal is exclusive to Playstation 4 and is scheduled to be released on October 31 in Japan, while for the rest of the world it will arrive only in 2020.
