Fans are anxious about the recent confirmation of an adaptation of Percy Jackson by Disney +, but they are not the only ones: Rick Riordan, actor of the book franchise that gave rise to the criticized films, does not stop to release new information about the series in development.
Last Friday (15), the writer shared on his Twitter a photo of the first page of the script for the new adaptation of the books. The image also reveals the official title: Percy Jackson and the Olympians (which, in Portuguese, can be translated for Percy Jackson and the Olympians).
“I hope you have a great weekend! I know I will. I have work to do. 🙂 #PercyJacksonDisneyPlus”, shares next to the image, which can be seen below:
The news of the new version of Percy Jackson, now in series, came after long years of fan campaigns for a better adaptation, since readers of the saga always complained that the films, despite having great actors, like Logan Lerman, had a weak script and very different from the book, going against all expectations of the loyal audience of the saga.
The new series has no preview yet, but it is already being widely commented by social networks.
