There are 32 days until the new year and the expectation of what will come from news is already among us. THE Paramount Pictures promises a lot of excitement and quality entertainment in cinemas in 2020 with its releases.

Fans can prepare for the return of titles that have been successful on the big screen with their sequences, such as A Quiet Place – Part 2, which is scheduled to debut March 19th. The film is directed by John Krasinski and brings in the cast the couple Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, Millicent Simmonds, and new faces like Cillian Murphy.

One of the most iconic characters in theaters in the 1980s, Maverick, will be back from July 9 in Top Gun: Maverick, with Tom Cruise, Jennifer Connelly, Miles Teller, Jon Hamm, Ed Harris and Val Kilmer in the cast, and direction of Joseph Kosinski (Oblivion), with the production of Jerry Bruckheimer.

In addition, A classic 80s comedy is back. Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall and cast return to America in December 2020 as Prince Akeem and his faithful squire Semmi in A Prince in New York 2; the GI Joes army will have a new mission in GI Joe: Snake Eyes; and friends SpongeBob and Patrick will venture out of the Bikini Bottom to retrieve Gary, who was “snailed” by King Poseidon in SpongeBob – The Amazing Rescue ‘ that hits theaters in June 11th.

Paramount Pictures also brings new stories with great talents, like the stars Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell together in the adaptation of the best seller of Tom Clancy Without Remorse; Mark Wahlberg and Chiwetel Ejiofor, which will be in fiction Infinite; Chris Prattin the action thriller The Tomorrow War; Michael Rooker, Dylan O’Brien and Jessica Henwick face an apocalypse in Monster Problems.

And one of the beloved characters from the games opens in theaters in 2020! In
Sonic– The Movie, the most famous blue hedgehog in the world ventures as he tries to adapt to the new life on Earth. And along with his new best friend, policeman Tom Wachowski (James Marsden), needs to escape the clutches of the villain Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) and prevent him from using his powers to dominate humanity. Directed by Jeff Fowler and produced by Tim Miller (Deadpool), and Neal H. Moritz (Fast and furious), the film opens in February 13 and also brings in the cast Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz, as the voice of Sonic, which in Brazil will be voiced by Manolo Rey.
