New version of Ducktales returns to television and comic books

Disney fans should remember the animated series DuckTales – The Adventure Hunters, which amused the afternoons of children and young people of the 80s. For Uncle Scrooge fans, good news comes: DuckTales will win a new TV series on Disney XD channel, in addition to a new comic book telling the adventures of the richest duck in the world and his three nephews.

Comic Book Resources recently published that IDW revealed more information about the creative team behind DuckTales’ new comic series, still in progress. Joe Caramagna will write the new adventures and the art of the magazine will be by Luca Usai and Gianfranco Florio.

Carmangna is a writer who has worked on comic book adaptations for all ages of Marvel in Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-Man. Usai and Florio have extensive experience in Disney comics, which were originally published in Italy.

Each magazine will feature two stories from the new creative team. The first edition, “The Great Experiment of the Washing Machine”, will take Donald and his nephews to “a secret laboratory, full of crazy inventions to make life easier, but it can make it shorter instead ”.

In the case of the second story, all we have is its title, “The Chilling Secret of the Lighthouse”.

This is the first DuckTales comic to be published in the USA since 2011. The first edition of DuckTales will be released on September 13, 10 days before the opening of the weekly series on the Disney XD channel, on September 23.

But fans won’t have to wait that long to see the ducks in action. New videos showing the opening and short parts of future episodes are already being released on the internet, in addition to a commemorative edition DuckTales # 0 that should be published in July.
