The Selection Book

The Selection series has 5 books: The selection, The elite, The choice, The Heiress and The crown. Thus, the story is situated in a country called Illéa, which was once known as the United States, where the society is divided into 8 castes and all are commanded by a king (who would belong to the first caste).

The plot revolves around America Singer, a girl belonging to caste 5 who is in love with Aspen Leger, belonging to caste 6. Aspen knows America’s love for you, however, as she believes she will never be able to support her , encourages her to participate in the Selection, an event in which 35 girls are chosen to compete for the hand of Prince Maxon de Illéa, and become the future queen. Then, coerced by her mother and Aspen, America decides to apply and, contrary to what she thought, becomes one of the 35 selected.

Although it is full of romance and beautiful dresses, The Selection also presents a history full of mysteries, involving the whole society of Illéa, the formation of its politics and structure.
