Netflix – horrors worth watching available on the platform:

When some people started thinking that the slasher was gone, he was back in the game! Renovated, refreshed, armed with tar black humor, he began to look at television screens. Although – as … Read more

The Scream series has two full seasons, which are implemented in the form of an anthology. This is one of those productions where you can simply relax from everyday life – this is not a psychological horror, but rather a slasher, where just a lot happens. Fans of the genre will find in this series many references and easter eggs referring to classic horror films from years ago, which can only make the screening more enjoyable. Perhaps in many places the series is filled with clichĂ©s, but on evenings like today and on clichĂ©s you can turn a blind eye – if you are looking for a casual offer for a horror screening, this title is most worth considering.

Stop the dark

Stop the dark

About the movie

After the death of three children probably killed by wolves, the writer Russell Core is hired by the parents of a missing six-year-old boy to find their son in the Alaskan desert. read more

Now a slightly different climate – this time the whole action takes place in the frosty corners of the forests of Alaska, where the search for wild animals killing people is ongoing. The admission alone can interest all those who are looking for something other than the killer chasing around the house or ghosts jumping out of the nooks. Hold the Dark is a mix of horror and drama, and the threads in it are presented in life and very realistic. The darkness proposed here is tangible darkness, but full of metaphors and symbols. I recommend the screening to those of you who like to talk a little bit about what they saw – this is not a production that will delight all horror fans and the need to empathize and be patient enough to be charmed by its disturbing climate.

Yes, it is a strange series, even very, but in its weirdness it is so cool that you want to watch it. It is not easy to assign a specific species to it; problem … Read more

Another series on my list – this time it is a well-known title, which maybe some of you have already had the opportunity to watch. Hemlock Grove is a three-season production broadcast in 2013-2015. To illustrate what it concerns you, it is enough when I mention the outlining topic of the concept – vampires, blood, werewolves, secrets and crime. The production is completely different than the exemplary The Vampire Diaries – it is much darker here, and the level of realism of some scenes can be terrifying. This is an offer for those of you who have more time and using the Halloween atmosphere, want to get caught up in the new series – the whole consists of 33 episodes.

The director of “Exorcism Emily Rose” has a talent for creating a dense dark atmosphere. Of course, you can accuse him of lack of originality when it comes to the story told, but why, if the horror is about … Read more

Sinister is a movie that can thoroughly frighten, as long as you take care of the right envelope and build the mood. A dark room and appropriate sound system will definitely help – the production can cause shivers on the back and make you close your eyes in some scenes. We have several jump scare here, but the horror mainly uses other forms of scaring, minute by minute causing the viewer more and more anxiety. The whole story is enriched with mystery and a puzzle that we solve with the main character – all this makes the screening really addictive. For me, it’s one of the most intriguing American horrors of recent years. Perhaps you will give him a chance?

The new dark Netflix series, which also takes place within the prison walls. This Indian production consists of only three episodes, which can only encourage you to reach for it in one evening. “Not much” does not mean “weak” – Ghoul works great as a suspenseful horror series, and its creators use a whole range of solutions that are supposed to cause fear to the viewer. This is not a typical horror movie – you’ll find a lot of innovative approach in it, which in the end guarantees a truly immersive screening. It’s definitely worth it.
