The series shows that he knows how to play with the dramas and comic tone of his characters by placing them in different moments of a year with the celebrations of the birthdays of each of them, the exchange of gifts, Jay passing on his own to the next…

Each has an interesting motivation and knows how to use it, like Mitchell wanting to spend his birthday alone and Cam planning a party, or him wanting a big day, but being spoiled by the end of Manny’s relationship, or rather, Gloria who never celebrates and “no gets old ”for never blowing out his candles.

Each has a reason and a special thing. Lily, Luke, Alex, Joe, Claire, everyone has their moments, but the focus ends up falling on Phil and his promises, like playing the piano and speaking Spanish.

Except that Haley and her pregnancy always steal the show and she arrives at the time of having her child. The twins are born and the whole family get together with the right of the children to come in with “Life Cycle” and Cam and Mitchell with tunics, but very cool moment of Jay passing the “best grandfather” mug to Phil.

Modern Family now he enters for his last season and it will be interesting to feel the farewell atmosphere.
