May 18: International Museum Day – visit world exhibitions without leaving your home

Today (May 18th) is celebrated International Museum Day. The date was established in 1977 by ICOM – International Council of Museums to encourage visits and raise public awareness about the importance of museums in the development of society.

Due to social isolation, the celebration of the date this year will only be via the Internet. Check out some sites where you can visit collections and even stroll virtually through famous museums in Brazil and the world.
