The first dubbed teaser for Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs was recently released, a South Korean animation that, as the name suggests, presents a satire on the popular tale of Snow White.
In the plot, a young woman finds a pair of magic shoes that transform her into a beautiful princess, but she will realize that the meaning of beauty is very different from what she imagined.
Chloë Grace Moretz, Sam Claflin, Gina Gershon and Patrick Warburton are the voice actors in English, but the teaser dubbed in Portuguese was released in Brazil by Paris Filmes. Check out:

Announced in 2017, the film was severely criticized at the time for an advertisement (image below) that suggested that the princess, a little fatter and thinner, would not be as beautiful as her classic representation.

In other tweets, he continues: “Please know that I warned the film’s producers. I lent my voice to a beautiful script that I hope everyone will see in its entirety. The real story is powerful for young women and resonated with me. I’m sorry for the offense. that was beyond my creative control. “

“What if Snow White wasn’t prettier and the Seven Dwarfs weren’t so short?” Says the controversial poster featuring two versions of the protagonist, one thin and the other fat, shown at Cannes 2017.
With that, the premiere of the film, originally expected for the year 2018, was postponed and the production only reached theaters in South Korea on July 25, 2019.
The premiere in Brazilian cinemas is scheduled for July 16, with distribution from Paris Filmes.
