News for the sequence of Murder on the Orient Express!
According to information from the THR website, the actress Letitia Wright negotiates participation in the feature Death on the Nile with Kenneth Branagh and Gal Gadot!
Death on the Nile, as previously released, it will be the second book by writer Agatha Christie to be adapted by 20th Century FOX and hits theaters in 2020.
Branagh is also expected to return in the direction. The script Michael Green who wrote the script for the first film.
Launched in 1937, Death on the Nile also tells one of the most famous cases of detective Poirot, in the plot we follow the story of a young heiress named Linnet Ridgeway who seems to get everything he wants. When she marries her best friend’s boyfriend, the couple embarks on their honeymoon trip on a cruise on the Nile River in Egypt.
When Linnet is found dead, the detective Hercule Poirot, who happened to also be on the ship, takes action to try to unravel this new mystery. The book was adapted for a film in the 70s and featured actresses Bette Davis, Mia Farrow, Maggie Smith, Angela Landsbury and David Niven in the main roles.
In the cast of the new version we still have the actors Armie Hammer and Jodie Comer.
Death on the Nile arrives in October 2020.
