After much anticipation and hours of Legends of Runeterra at the Youtube and on Twitch, the launch of the beta version of the strategy card game set in the universe of League of Legends starts today, January 24, with availability released throughout the afternoon.
Announced last year by Riot Games and with a playable preview in two early tests with limited access, LoR will be fully available to players on the PC. Anyone can create an account and start playing for free at http://playruneterra.com/pt-br/.
The beta version includes a variety of new features and content, such as the friend list, which can be challenged, as well as new boards and guardians. More than 20 cards have been updated, including a major update for Anivia, and a number of improvements have been implemented in the game. The launch also brings the first ranked season of LoR, called Beta Season, which starts with the beginning of the Open Beta and goes until the official launch of the game.
The cross-platform gameplay LoR will be released later this year for PC and smartphones. Anyone who played the title during early testing last year, or is already pre-registered on the PC, has had access to the beta since 4 am today, 24. These accounts have been reset and now there will be no more account resets – whatever players win when the beta ends will be retained after the official launch. Anyone who plays during the Open Beta version will receive an exclusive Moored Pore Guardian once the title is officially released.
