Kirby Howell-Baptiste joins CBS All Access's Why Women Kill

The actress Kirby Howell-Baptiste has just been confirmed in the cast of Why Women Kill, new series of CBS All Access. Are already confirmed in the cast Lucy Liu, Ginnifer Goodwin, Reid Scott, Sam Jaeger and Alexandra Daddario.

Howell-Baptiste will be Taylor. Set in 2018, Taylor is described as an intelligent and powerful woman, a lawyer, perfectly in control of her sensitive side when choosing to show off. She is also very protective of her husband, who is content to be the beta of his alpha. Described as admired by her husband, Eli (Scott), she is feminist, passionate and very sexy. She is also comfortable with her bisexuality, and she and Eli have an open marriage, which by far seems to be working.

The actress was previously seen in Killing Eve, The Good Place and Barry, and can be seen in the revival of Veronica Mars, and in the anthology of Blumhouse, Into the Dark, both Hulu series.

Why Women Kill is creation of Marc Cherry (Desperate Housewives) and tells the lives of 3 women living in different decades: a housewife from the 60s (Goodwin), a socialite from the 80s (Liu) and a lawyer in 2018 (Howell-Baptiste), each dealing with the infidelity of their weddings.

The series will examine how each of the characters will change and how each will react to the betrayal.

Why Women Kill does not yet have an expected debut date.
