Josh Duhamel and Leslie Bibb cast for Jupiter's Legacy, new Netflix series based on the work of Mark Millar

Back in July last year, the Netflix announced that it had purchased the rights to Mark Millar.

The streaming service bought 5 projects (read more here), and the website Collider, announced that the first to go into production will be Jupiter’s Legacy.

The website also claims that the actors Josh Duhamel and Leslie Bibb were cast as the protagonists The Utopian and Lady Liberty, respectively.

An American superhero epic, Jupiter’s Legacy accompanies the first generation of superheroes in the world who received their powers in 1930. Today they are revered elders, but their superpowered children struggle to live up to their parents’ legendary deeds.

The Utopian and Lady Liberty are the couple’s names Shledon and Grace Sampson. The duo and a group of friends form the Union of Justice.

Years later, they have two children, Chole and Brandon, who also inherited their powers.

In the cast we still have Andrew Horton like Brandon / Paragon, Elena Kampouris like Chloe, Ben Daniels like Walter, Brainwave, and Matt Lanter, like George Hutchence / Skyfox.

Steven S. DeKnight (Marvel – Daredevil, Spartacus, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), which recently signed a collaboration agreement with Netflix, will be the showrunner and executive producer, with Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Dan McDermott acting as executive producers of the series. DeKnight will also direct the first episode.

Jupiter’s Legacy has no premiere date.
