Based on the children’s bestseller by RL Stine, Goosebumps was a hit in 2015 and now, three years later, we have started the countdown to the debut of its long-awaited sequel.
The rumors of a script without the iconic Jack Black character and the absence of the author in the first trailer and posters of the film scared the audience of the franchise, but just a few weeks before the release, we can celebrate the presence of the author, confirmed with the teaser more recent.
It is not yet clear, however, what Black’s participation in the film will be, but a large role is not expected, following its absence in the promotional materials prior to the video that may have emerged as an attempt by Sony studios to reconnect fans of the first film that left the sequence after the rumors of the absence of Jack Black in Goosebumps 2.
In the new film, two boys find a manuscript in an abandoned house during Halloween night in a small town called Wardenclyffe. Upon opening it, they release Slappy, who with the help of other monsters plans to cause a terrible night. Now the two boys and the sister of one of them must race against time before everything is lost in the hands of the monsters.
Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween hits theaters on October 12. Read more about the film on our website and take the opportunity to review the main dubbed trailer:
